Surviving Your Student Loans

New information about my old student loan adds more light to my future...thank you Ms Mitchell! Got several copies of this book for presents, as most everyone I know puzzles over the debits of studenthood. In my practice as a clinical social worker, many people admit they've given up hopes of engagement in higher education. Even though, it is logical that schooling leads to a better job. Repeatedly, we arrive at the same fact: Financial complexity has stopped all thought on the subject. The clear tone and concise quality of the information in this book serves as an easy invitation to continue thinking along with the author. Her abundant knowledge in this area will surely help every new and old student borrower.

The SBA Loan Book

This book offers a very clear and concise explanation of the SBA loan process. It really helped me understand the fundamentals of SBA lending in a way that allowed me to use this knowledge in my practice. To be fair to the author and publisher, I giving it the full five star rating, even though some of the information in the book is out of date by now. Very informative - Highly recommended to anyone who is seeking SBA funding.

The Guerrilla Guide to Mastering Student Loan Debt

Everything You Should Know About Negotiating the Right Loan for You, Paying it Off, Protecting Your Financial Future. There is a common theme among college students these days, and those who have attended and quit as well as those (un)lucky multitudes who have graduated. Sometime during the senior year of high school, application forms to colleges are sent in, and admissions and rejection notices are sent a few months later. Along with the admissions forms comes another little form detailing the amount of aid that is extended by the college to the prospective freshperson. This is where all the fun begins, and it quickly snowballs into a pernicious form of indentured servitude.

Delinquency Dollars: A Loan Officer's Guide to Beating Foreclosure

Most loan officers want to earn more commissions. Delinquent loans provide a unique way to make a dramatic difference in your client's life and earn more. At least 25 percent of the homeowners that I've spoken to who have lost their home in foreclosure told me, "The loan officer is taking care of it." Their home was lost because the loan officer knew how to process a regular loan, but had no idea how to navigate through the murky depths of foreclosure. This book helps loan officers to understand the foreclosure process in detail, from the inside out. So, they can be the champions and angels for their borrowers and help them obtain the best loan for their situation. Processing a loan for a delinquent borrower is challenging. But if done right, it can be the most rewarding loan you have ever written.
